05.11.2011: I found the time to go flying today. The weather was not too good, but the views none the less spectacular.
I took off around 14:00 local time, with the sky darkened by a layer of thick clouds.
There was a section of the sky over the alps free of clouds, with blue sky visible, but that was some distance away.
I none the less headed for that area,…
….reaching it near the Churfirsten and the Walensee.
From there I headed towards the lake, following it west all the way to Stein am Rhein.
Turning back towards Lommis the sky turned again dark, kind of a spooky atmosphere.
In Lommis things looked better again, and I noticed that the are behind the fuel station has been fenced off. We will install an additional fuel tank here, so that we can in the future offer not only Avgas, but also Mogas.
21.11.2011: I flew to Johannesburg today for business. I thought I can escape November weather, but apart from the temperature it was nearly the same as at home.
