26.01.2014:  It’has been a lousy winter so far with respect to flying. I have not been in the air since the 31^st December. We’ve had hardly any snow, so the runway would be flyable, but the weather has been foggy or stormy or rainy every day.

I’ve started looking at possible destinations for fly-aways for this year. The problem is that the list is already longer than the number of weekends. High on my agenda are Denmark/Sweden, Prague and Italy,. I have however also read that the UK SportCruiser community is planning a trip to Luxembourg, which would probably be a good opportunity to meet some of the guys I have had e-mail contact with over the years. As usual what is possible will also depend on my job, especially as we are running a series of tests with a test train in August / September, and that happens usually at nights on weekends to get track access.
