03.06.2016: I flew to Berlin today, and when waiting for my plane in Zurich airport I saw the Iron Maiden tour “bus” parked on the apron. Cool, a 747-400 tour plane to fly from concert to concert. I should have worked harder during my piano lessons…

When flying home from Tegel airport we took off towards the east, but then made an immediate right turn straight over the city of Berlin, instead of the usual detour via overhead Schönefeld Airport more to the east. This was probably because these days the ILA (Internationale Luftfahrt Ausstellung) takes place at Schönefeld Airport, which includes a daily airshow. Looking left out of the window I saw indeed the taxiway filled with a lot of exhibits, I should have gone there instead of working.

09.06.2016: Another business trip, this time to Hanover.

15.06.2016: Yet another one. I flew to Brussels, yesterday, from where I have flown to Berlin today, and will then return to Zurich tomorrow. The weather has been lousy at home and in Brussels, and seems to be the same tomorrow in Berlin, only during the flight from Brussels to Berlin I have been able to see a bit of blue sky.

21.06.2016: Yet another one, this time to Amsterdam. I have to attend a big industry event, for once more pleasure than working.

28.06.2016: Yet another one, this time to Berlin. It was the same as during my trip to Brussels, lousy weather in Zurich and Berlin and only a bit of blue sky on the way home.

29.06.2016: Yet another one, this time to Prague. The weather was so lousy, I did not even take a picture from the plane.

30.06.2016: This has probably been the craziest month for flying. I have done 15 flights in 30 days, working 50+ hours every week, so no flying during the entire month! There would have been two or three instances where I could have gone for a short flight, but on top of my crazy job the weather was also extremely poor, so no chance for private flying. Maybe I should write down those business flights into my pilot logbook…
